My first Opinel is the knife of little adventurers, little handymen, little gourmets! It allows children to learn how to make sandwiches after a mountain trip, to cut sticks or to build a tree house. However, it remains a knife that really cuts.

 

Specially designed for children, it features an 8 cm round blade end and a white painted handle to protect it from dirt. My first Opinel is also equipped with the Virobloc safety system to lock the blade in the open or closed position
