Additionally, it's important to avoid using the knife on hard or sharp surfaces that could damage the edge. Thorough cleaning after each use and protecting the blade with a sheath or case help preserve its sharpness and prevent accidents during handling and storage.

SOME TIPS FOR SHARPENING YOUR KNIVES
Properly sharpening the blade of your knives is crucial for achieving optimal results. Use only high-quality products to ensure good sharpening. Follow the instructions below when using a stone or steel to sharpen your knife:
- First, apply low-viscosity oil on the raw natural abrasive. This will help quickly remove the old blade edge.
- Make sure to firmly hold the knife and position the blade at an angle between 10 and 20 degrees, as shown in Figure A.
- Begin sharpening from the base of the knife and work towards the tip, following the directions in Figure B.
- Repeat the same actions on the opposite side of the blade to ensure both sides are evenly sharpened.
- Continue sharpening until the new knife edge is as sharp as originally.
- After sharpening, wash the knife with water and dry it thoroughly.
- If you want an extremely sharp edge, repeat this procedure using a stone with progressively finer grit until you are satisfied with the result.
Do not sharpen the knife by keeping the blade parallel to the surface of the stone or steel, as too steep an angle can cause blunting and flattening of the edge. After using the stone or steel, make sure to clean them immediately with running water and dry them thoroughly. If you use other tools for sharpening, carefully consult the instructions provided by the device manufacturer.
